Bot Killa

So now that hell is removed from dep, how does one celebrate? Well we decided to go on a bot PK spree. We killed about 25-30 bots, mostly it was the same 10-12 chars that just automatically come back after they die. To bad they dont hunt with summons or we could actually get some drops. Anywho for those that same mages are useless after this update, having a mage was a requirement to be able to kill them. Basically we had 1 char always get the chao so all of us dont have to unlaw. I wont say how we did it, only that it requires multiple classes and good teamwork. The pictures are at my work on my laptop but ill post them soon (ie hopefully later today).

Forty-Ts!

Looks like all the knights are enjoying their new Forty-Ts. I did a bit of damage testing with Since1984. Since I only had a magical weapon i just used a kat which was laying around so that the amount of crits the magical weap does wouldnt affect the damage and throw the test off.

For each test I swung until i hit him 25 times, and he was overweight so as not to regain while testing. The tests were done with no buffs and using a n-kat.

The first test was without the Fortified T-Shirt.
25 swings totalled 470 damage, or 18.8 damage per swing on average.

The second test was done using the Fortified T-shirt.
25 swings totalled 395 damage, or 15.8 damage per swing on average.

So the Fortified T-shirt aborbed exactly 3 extra damage per hit. Not to shabby. Anyways shortly after that test Since blew about 5 of the Forty-Ts. He sold two of them that went 6 and 7 and was left with this. Must be nice having his luck~

Anyways, congrats to princess Lunamaria on hitting 50, she wanted a shout out so there you go =P

New pledge, New update

OK i posted this on the lineage.com message board but im going to post it again here. Some people have been asking why i havent posted lately, and frankly im suprised so many people read my blog. Anyways here is my post regarding this update

"Personally i like this update. Im not going to read through all the posts, but here are my reasons:

#1 Hacks - Mages fighting 1v1 is pretty similar to before. The casting animation of spells erupts means that you only get off like 2 erupts before the timer resets itself (this is with level 55 mage morph). So you can still cast erupt erupt destroy, however this is a major nerf to the many people using no casting animation, who can caster faster. This will no longer benefit them in 1v1 situations.

#2 Seiges - If something can be done to increase the benefit of owning a castle, people will actually seige again, they dont have to worry about 8 destroy mages killing, venzing, coi'ing, coming back, killing 1 more person, ect. Seige zones have become places to just show up and kill single people with no penalty. The actual pledges dont care about owning the casltes.

#3 Teamwork - Lately no one really works together much to kill people. Its get a team of 6 mages and someone to detect. It takes no skill and it involves very few other classes. Now if you want to coi PK you will need a knight to stun, elfs to erase and triple or elemental falldown, and DE's for damage as well as the mages to destroy.

#4 Pink Fights - People are going to be more willing to go pink because they wont get blasted by 7 destroys as soon as they do. This coupled with the "doowall" pink will also help those that say someone will have 5 friends in coi ready to destroy you when you hit back and go pink.

The Tshirts for knights make them tanks again. Yes it will make them stronger, but thats the idea. If it didnt really do much it wouldnt really change much of anything. The 3 damage absorption is good but not overly powerful, and while holy walk not stacking to 10k kinda sucks, i think mages will actually use wis pots now since they can just HW 1 time and be buffed instead of casting for 10 minutes."

I've also joined a new pledge for a little while. I plan on switching pledge again in the near future, however I felt it was time to have some fun, meet some people, and help some others out that are newer to the game then me. For those asking its still the same old silverleaf -.-

Look for a new level 50 princess on the server soon. I've been sending my encouragement throughout the event and Lunamaria has almost made it. Gogogo!

Ill post some pictures later, still been meaning to update the last post but ill see =P
