Place to stay

Well I thought I would get everyone a quick update. I found a cool appartment to stay at in Sydney. I thought I would quickly post a couple of the pictures of the kitchen and common room. Its right downtown in Sydney just by the bridge, this weekend the Mardi Gras celebration parade is going by right outside the building so we'll probably check that out and have some friends crash overnight. Bye!

Sydney

Ok, so I finally got to Sydney yesturday so I thought I would post a couple pictures. I found a few cool people to try to find an appartment with so we're just waiting to hear back from the real estate agent and then I'll have a chillin' place and net to log on a bit more with. The appartment we are hoping to get is right near the water front and has a view of the harbour bridge. Here's a couple pictures I took while we were down in the area.



This is a bit of a view of the harbour as we walked in through from China town. The shorter buildings along the water are all bars and restaurants which are pretty nice.

After climbing the steps I took this picture right in front of the Opera house. There is a nice botanical garden right near it but it was too dark out to get a good picture of it.

Anyways, I will have a few more pictures once I move I think, I'm planning to learn how to surf over the next couple weeks so I'll get some pics of that. Peace out for now.

Havent had much time to play lately; presentations in school and being in Toronto away from my computer being the main reasons. So on friday night i went over to lisa's with vlad B-rad and met up with meagan, rikki, eric and brad for a bit of drinking before the club. Looking back i think it was the 1.5litres of wine that vlad drank which prolly did him under. After meeting everyone else at the club and partying till about 3am vlad left (or rather stubbled/crawled) to head home and we got a cab up to my place. We arrived to find a power line which was about 50 feet long drapped accross the front lawn and almost to the door. The snow was all melted around it so i think it was live. Nothing sucks more then getting home from a club pissed drunk to find the power out and it freezing cold. Luckily i have a flashlight and we had cell phones so i could phone the hydro company. i had to skip the korean noodles i bought till the afternoon when the power was back on but oh well. On saturday Me, brad, B-rad and lisa went bowling at some place by lawrence and dufferin which was really fun, but after 3 hours it starts getting painful. The place was open till 3am as well which is nice because we didnt recover till about 7pm from the night before. Anyways on to lineage i got a few bosses like demon, KV and ML but they all dropped pretty bad. ML was cdai and i think KV was like bdai but we did find one boss to drop good during this event.

Anyways time to finish up another marketing project, later~

In Oz

Well, I finally got here. I know I've been slacking in the posting department but I have been somewhat busy these past couple days. Everything has been going pretty good so far, I got to the campus I am staying at for the next week or so before I move out to Parramatta which is a bit closer to Sydney than I am currently. I went shopping there yesturday at a mall called Westfields which was pretty fun. I think today most of the shops are closed so I will probably head to Sydney sometime this coming week in between all of my orientation things and parties with the school. I finally got some of the pictures off my laptop so I will post a couple of them. I will have a better internet connection a bit later on so I can play some more Lin but that will have to wait until I move. I'll try to get some pics of the campus I will be going to when I go there tommorow for now here are the ones from me in Canada, Hong Kong and in plane.

I took this looking down the terminals at the airport in Hong Kong, it pretty much streches as far as you can see. It's a pretty nice airport but I didn't get much of a chance to see it because my flight arrived 15 minutes after the boarding time of my flight to Sydney.




This was my first look at Australia, this was over the north east coast. I took a few pictures of arriving at Sydney but since it was dark out and I was taking them through the plane window they didn't turn out very good.

So in other news shanes off to Australia for a year to finish a degree there. Had a bit of a going away party for him on the weekend which ill sort through some pictures tonight to post. Not much going on in lineage, i been busy this past week but if i have time ill post some boss SS, hunt SS, ect

I think there was about 20 people there which was alot smaller then New years (about 35-40 ppl) and Halloween (like 70+). Anyways if i get more pictures from Dave and Brad ill post them up too.

Well, I dont have much time but I thought I would say Hi to everyone quickly cause I dont know when I will get online next. Im using the net cafe at the airport. I took some pictures and stuff but they will have to wait until I get my laptop hooked up. Thanks for the party everyone and for organizing it (I'm pretty sure Silver did alot of it), I had a wicked time and I'll talk to you all again soon.
