Moving Day

Well today im moving once again. Some of you may recall i wasnt on for a while when i was staying at the other house on Old Yonge St. My parents bought a house in Etobicoke by the lake and the house in brampton, as well as the house on old yonge have both been sold. Its funny the real estate prices these days. The one house was bought for like $36,000 like 50 years ago, but now the closing price is $1,202,000. lol. Anyways here's whats happening in lineage...

Lame drop from KV, although pledge got a charm the other day which is good.

Ken and Cerenis both ended and dropped 0. Hopefully with the LOA ruleset comes the increased boss drops that captsturm has been talking about on the boards. I have heard he is visiting some blogs too, wonder if he will stop by here too O.o

If your reading this Capt make our elfs spells work! I really think we need an adjustment to AOS and Counter mirror. Making these spells better would help elfs tremendously and i doubt it would upset the balance very much, as they are both defensive spells.

Anyways thats all for now, time to pack some more =P

Whats new

Well info that we will for sure be getting the LOA ruleset has arrived. For those on dep that dont like the idea of the hell system, it seems we will be getting it anyways. I would suggest taking this time to go to the lineage.com forums and commenting constructively. I have offered a few ideas of mine which i think would benefit the overall community of dep. Anyways here are some Ss of whats new:

New Publish

Well as many people now know, NC has started to implement the LOA ruleset to all US servers. Before i get into my thoughts on this, here is a few boss drops over the past 2 days...Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Anyways, personally i feel this will be good for the lineage community. This gives NC more control over the game and will let them makes changes which benefit our servers. While the korean servers enjoy high server populations, we do not. Therefore drop rates which are acceptable there are discouraging here.

While there are things i do like about the LOA ruleset (new bows for elfs, no soft ac) there are others which i think would hinder the already impotent PvP situation (such as Hell, going chao for 1% exp loss). I think if they are going to implement a Hell system they should either design a quest so that players can get special scrolls which teleport them out of Hell, but which are very time consuming to get. Personally i rather them just remove it fully, or maybe implement it as rather a new challenging place to hunt.

Apart from the challenges of making rulesets which appeal to the broad spectrum of players, i think the benefits of having a larger server population would negate any discrepancies. Actually having a sufficient population to seige would bring back an aspect to lineage that has been lacking on dep for a long time. While we personally own all the castles, and may contribute to the problem, often the castles have gone unchallenged when owned by NPC's.

So for those against the hell system, there are a few threads started on the lineage.com boards to complain, and i guess its a matter of time to see how things work out.

Level 50 Diamond Sword Quest

After speaking with a few members of KOD who gave the quest a try, we organized a small group of people to go do the quest. CCgirl sent me pictures of the sword so ill be posting those along with the ones i took myself. The only small problem we had was that one of the our group members d/c'd inside the quest so we had to do the whole thing with 4 ppl.

Here's the SS in order:

Anyways, overall i found the quest to be quite fun. The ghost was a bit annoying at first but we figured out how to keep it from canceling us (with a bit of help from KOD). Anyways thats all for now.

With the crazy price of Bzels lately we made some alright money. I sold a bunch of stuff i had kicking around, like a +5SKS for 7mil and found a seller for one of these:

And finally with the new quest I was hoping to get one of the scrolls so i could go with Ccgirl to do the quest. Its like the golden wrapper for the chocolate factory lol. I talked to Elane and she mentioned that many ppl in her pledge want to go as well.

Anyways ill post some pics later of the quest ^^

Couple more pics

Well I went though a couple more pictures and stuff from my trip. I figured I would put a couple up of the interesting ones. I still have way too many to post (over 500). For now I am back in Sydney just doing the school thing again. Next weekend I'm having a house party at my place so perhaps I will get a couple pictures of the crazyness. The night before I got home my roommates had a 3 person party dancing with curtains which was fun to watch on the camera when I got back. Maybe I should host some videos or something, we'll see... ^.^
